That's strange, because an update in October 2007 changed its recharge to 4 seconds, and it was nerfed later in March 2008. I checked all the updates in between and couldn't find anywhere that the recharge was removed.

Take it from an old schooler:

In the beginnig, it was like this:

"Watch Yourself"

All alies within Earshot gain +24 Armor for XX seconds 4 Adrenaline

It didn't have a recharge, and it was a set ammount of armor. I'm pretty sure it was 24, but I'm actually doubting wether or not it was +20

Anyways, why U wanna know?

That means they changed the recharge from 0 to 4 seconds, nothing strange about that. In the future, if you wanna know about what the a skill use to be, you can try to cycle through the history tab on the wikis for the info(or Guru's own skill database which hasn't been updated in forever).

Immediately before the nerf it was 4 adrenaline, 4 recharge, 5...21 armour for 10 seconds. However it went through a number of nerfs before that.

They changed it for paras, who could use the +20 armor without investing much into tactics. After that, paras put more into tactics, and started using Shields up as well. After nerfing SU, they put the recharge on GFTE and WY because they were getting too much energy for paras. The last step was adding the hit counter.

Default Question About Little Thom

Little Thom has [Executioner's Strike] as well as [Wild Blow]. Will he constantly use [Wild Blow] and loss adrenaline so that he can't use [Executioner's Strike], or will he be smarter and only use [Wild Blow] to end stances? Thanks in advance.

He'll use it to end any stance, not just blocking stances.

He will spam Wild Blow as he uses it as a +damage skill. You will rarely see any of the AI use a +damage adrenaline skill with Wild Blow on their skill bar (on heroes I disable it and manually trigger it).

He will also see Wild Blow as a stance breaker in some circumstances and use it before other skills. So the AI isn't totally unaware of it's use - it just doesn't note that it drains adrenaline.

Henchmen IQ is in the single digits. Same goes for Heroes. They will spam their limited skill bars as much as they can and as inefficiently as they can.

Does this mean that he'll never use [Executioner's Strike] as he will never have enough adrenaline?

I'm not going to say for sure on a henchie, but Koss (and all heroes) will rarely use Executioner's Strike if they have a skill equipped that loses all adrenaline. A skill that takes 8 strikes of adrenaline to use will probably not be "built up" before they spam Wild Blow or whatever again.... Without doing extensive testing, I would say that 9/10 times Koss does not use such skill combos properly. Heroe Ai (let alone henchies) is pretty dumb - for that reason I never give a hero a skill that will cause them to incur a negative effect, unless I have a specific need for such a build and then I'm apt to disable it on their bar and use it manually myself.

Would you say that Stefan is better than Little Thom then?

No. Unblockable means unblockable.
